Litigation · Legal Advisory · Contract Drafting
A law firm providing legal advice and representing clients before the Egyptian courts in civil, commercial, real estate, and capital markets disputes, drawing on procedural, field, and institutional expertise built by its founders over many years.
About the Firm
Elsersawi Law Firm & Legal Consultancy practices before the Court of Cassation and the Council of State. Its legal approach rests on extensive hands-on experience in criminal investigation, police seizure reports, preliminary inquiry and investigation procedures, and the enforcement of judgments. We believe a case’s strength does not begin with the statement of claim, but with the police report and the earliest procedures, where its threads are first woven and its weaknesses first revealed.
This field expertise is complemented by extensive practical experience in the capital markets, extending to work with regional organizations in the same field. This enables the firm to challenge inquiry reports, contest the validity of procedures, and read between the lines of the facts, delivering legal protection that reaches the substance of our clients’ rights.

Elsersawi Law Firm & Legal Consultancy
Last updated: October 2026
Elsersawi Law Firm & Legal Consultancy is committed to protecting the personal data of its website visitors and clients in accordance with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law promulgated by Law No. 151 of 2020 and its Executive Regulations issued by Decree No. 816 of 2025 of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and consistent with a lawyer’s duty to safeguard client confidences. This policy explains what data we collect, the purposes and legal basis of its processing, and your rights in respect of it.
We collect the data that visitors voluntarily provide through the consultation request form, namely their name, telephone number, and the nature of their inquiry, as well as any data they send to us by email or telephone. The website does not automatically collect personal data, other than the technical data required for its operation and security.
We process this data for specified and declared purposes: responding to inquiries, scheduling consultations, and assessing whether we can take on a matter, including conflict-of-interest checks. We do not process it for any other purpose, and we do not use it for direct electronic marketing without first obtaining separate consent as required by law.
Data submitted with consultation requests is processed on the basis of the data subject’s express consent, given by ticking the consent box when submitting the form. Once we agree to act for a client, the client’s data is also processed because it is necessary to perform our engagement and to assert or defend the client’s rights.
Data subjects may withdraw their consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
The law classifies as sensitive any data revealing health, financial information, religious beliefs, political opinions, or security status, as well as all data relating to children. We therefore ask that such data not be included in the consultation request form. Where such data is needed in the course of a client relationship, it will be handled only with the client’s express written consent. This website is not directed at children.
We treat all data in strict confidence and do not sell, rent, or trade it. We disclose it only with the data subject’s consent; in compliance with an obligation imposed by law, an order of a competent investigating authority, or a court judgment; or to technical service providers, such as hosting and email providers, to the extent strictly necessary for their services and under a written obligation of confidentiality and purpose limitation.
We do not retain personal data for longer than is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, and we erase it as soon as that purpose has been fulfilled. Where a legitimate reason requires retention thereafter, the data is kept in a form that no longer identifies the data subject.
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against breach, damage, alteration, disclosure, or unauthorized access.
In the event of a personal data breach, we will notify the Personal Data Protection Center within seventy-two hours of becoming aware of it, and will inform affected data subjects, within three working days of that notification, of the breach and the measures taken.
Under the law, data subjects have the right to know of, review, access, and obtain the personal data we hold about them; to withdraw prior consent to its retention or processing; to have it corrected, amended, erased, supplemented, or updated; to restrict processing to a specified scope; to be informed of any breach of their personal data; and to object to its processing or the results thereof where these conflict with their fundamental rights and freedoms.
To exercise any of these rights, please send your request to info@elsersawi.com. We will respond within six working days of receipt, subject to any service fee prescribed by law for certain requests.
Without prejudice to the right to seek judicial remedy, data subjects may lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Center if they believe their data protection rights have been infringed or they have been prevented from exercising them.
To run this website and receive consultation requests and correspondence, the firm uses technical service providers whose servers are located outside the Arab Republic of Egypt: Netlify, which hosts the website and the consultation form, and Zoho, which provides the firm’s email service. As a result, data sent through the form or by email is stored with these providers outside Egypt.
This transfer is made under Article 15 of Law No. 151 of 2020, on the basis of the express consent the data subject gives by ticking the consent box when submitting the form, for the purpose of reviewing the request with a view to concluding and performing an engagement for legal services in the data subject’s favour, and of establishing, exercising, or defending the data subject’s rights. Only the data needed for that purpose is transferred, and the firm works only with providers that apply recognised data-security and encryption standards. Outside these cases, personal data is transferred abroad only in accordance with Article 14 of the Law.
Anyone who prefers that their data not be transferred in this way may contact the firm by telephone or in person instead of using the form.
This website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation. It does not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
Submitting a consultation request or otherwise contacting the firm does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. We therefore recommend that you do not send confidential details or documents through the form before we have agreed to take on your matter.
The firm may amend this policy from time to time in accordance with the law. Amendments take effect upon publication on this website, and the date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
For any questions about this policy or the protection of your personal data: info@elsersawi.com — 6D, Street 198, Degla, Maadi, Cairo, Egypt.
